Autogenic training.
December 9th, 2008

Autogenic training is a relaxation technique developed by the German psychiatrist Johannes Schultz and first published in 1932. The technique involves the daily practice of sessions that last around 15 minutes, usually in the morning, at lunch time, and in the evening. During each session, the practitioner will repeat a set of visualisations that induce a state of relaxation. Each session can be practiced in a position chosen amongst a set of recommended postures (e.g. lying down, sitting meditation, sitting like a rag doll, etc.). The technique can be used to alleviate many stress-induced psychosomatic disorders.

The last edition of the Pitti Uomo showed tons of stuff people will wear in summer 09.
We decided to carry on comunicating our point of view not through our clothes but an installation.
Inspired by our collection we choose to build the concept of the installation around the RED APPLE.
Biancaneve is Pharmacy’s interpretation of the story of the red poisoned apple.
Didn’t your mama tell you: don’t take candy from strangers
All apples were eaten up before the trade show ended. Thanks visitors!

Enlighten the minds. It maby sounds a bit confusing since our main concern is to make you fall in love with our clothes but this time we wanted to show you our sentimental/idealistic side. We tried to give our message of peace playing with the stereotypical ways of demonstrating and protesting. Several screens were showing at the same time different views of how constraining and destructing war games are. We achieved a strong impact on visitors. Wake up folks ‘n make love!
